Mike Tyson has added further fuel to speculation he is ready to make a return to the ring by saying he might be interested in a UFC fight.
The 53-year-old announced his intention to make a comeback in exhibition boxing matches last month and there has been relentless rumours about a potential fight ever since. Tyson’s last appearance in the ring was in 2005 when he was beaten by Kevin McBride in the final fight of his professional career.
‘I think boxing and MMA, all that has its place,’ Tyson, 53, said during a #PlayApartTogether gaming event on Facebook. ‘It’s needed in our society. No one thing suits everyone. ‘There’s a lot of guys. There’s Khabib and Jon Jones. There’s just so many good fighters out there. Colby Covington. ‘There’s so many exciting fighters, they’re out there man.’
